Nem nướng is roughly translated Vietnamese grilled sausage.

For nem nướng they use minced pork which they season with herbs and then put on a skewer. Then they will grill it. This creates that nice smoky smell. The nem nướng is slightly spicy and sweet in taste. Nem nướng is served in various ways, usually as a snack with some pickled vegetables. But it's also used in fresh spring rolls, bánh Mì sandwich or eaten like that with the banh hoi rice vermicelli as a salad.
