Dried fungus mushrooms

At Nguyen Oriental Foods you will find 2 types of fungus: black fungus and black fungus with white back. Both are commonly used in various Asian dishes.

The black fungus, also called the black mushroom, cloud ears or Judas ears. Is a neutral gelatinous mushroom. It is loved for its crunchy texture. The white-backed black fungus is slightly thicker and not gelatinous but rather leathery. It is crunchy and slightly sweetened in taste. You can use them both after soaking for salads, soups or stir-fried dishes.
