Fish | Catfish


Catfish is a species of fish that belongs to the bony fishes. The catfish is a white fish and, like the tilapia, has a sweet, mild taste with a firm structure.


These fish are mainly farmed in Vietnam. Catfish have straight whiskers on their snouts and have no fish scales. They are therefore very sensitive to nutrients in water and have a very fast reaction. Because they have no scales, they have a slime layer covering them. They also breathe through their skin. Therefore, wash the outside well with water when preparing the catfish. Catfish can also be prepared in different ways: baking, cooking, grilling.
