Meat | Char siu

Char siu the red roast pork that comes from Cantonese cuisine. You can easily find this delicious meat in Southeastern cuisine.

The pork is marinated in a marinade made from honey, 5 spices, red fermented tofu, dark soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice wine and red food coloring.After marinating, they roast the meat. This sweetened meat is often served with rice and vegetables. They are also used in ramen or noodle soups and bapau sandwiches.
